Our Story

Syro-Malabar Eparchy of Mississauga:
A Lifeline for Immigrants Across Canada

Supporting over 40,000 Indian immigrants with spiritual care and essential social services from coast to coast.

A Pillar of Faith and Community Support

Since 2015, the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Mississauga has been a vital spiritual and community center for Indian immigrants in Canada. Through 18 parishes and 44 service centers, it supports newcomers and students, and during COVID-19 served over 3,000 people with food, coupons, mental health, and spiritual care.

A Pillar of Faith and Community Support

In 2021, the Eparchy founded the Integrated Social Service Society - Action Canada (ISSSAC), a federally registered nonprofit serving immigrants, families, seniors, children, and vulnerable youth. ISSSAC ensures underserved populations receive resources, care, and guidance to integrate and thrive, fostering a compassionate and inclusive society.
