We aim to empower newcomers and underserved populations while actively engaging seniors, youth, and children. Guided by the social teachings of the Catholic Church, ISSSAC provides holistic support that integrates physical, spiritual, social, and practical care. Our mission is to help individuals and families cultivate independence, foster a sense of belonging, and thrive in their communities. ISSSAC is promoted by the Syro Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Mississauga.
Donate NowSupporting over 40,000 Indian immigrants with spiritual care and essential social services from coast to coast.
Since 2015, the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Mississauga has been a vital spiritual and community center for Indian immigrants in Canada. Through 18 parishes and 44 service centers, it supports newcomers and students, and during COVID-19 served over 3,000 people with food, coupons, mental health, and spiritual care.
In 2021, the Eparchy founded the Integrated Social Service Society - Action Canada (ISSSAC), a federally registered nonprofit serving immigrants, families, seniors, children, and vulnerable youth. ISSSAC ensures underserved populations receive resources, care, and guidance to integrate and thrive, fostering a compassionate and inclusive society.
ISSSAC’s approach integrates professional expertise with volunteer dedication and value‑driven support to build stronger, more inclusive communities through ISSSAC Regional Service Centers.
